This is Ian Carpenter. I have always been interested in living the best life possible. Growing up, I always have been interested in travelling to distant lands and meeting new people. All through my life, science fiction and fantasy was a way for me to escape and have the freedom to do what I wanted. The only limits were my imagination.

As I got older, I realized that I was not alone. There are many others who have the same passion. The hobby is a great way to meet like minded individuals. I also realized that I needed a way to fuel my passions. Working a "9-5" is not the answer. You are always doing for someone else, and not helping yourself. There's so much more to life than just working a job. It's not fulfilling and it gets you nowhere.
